And what it means for you if you’re building a solo business that lasts
Because when the pieces come together, you finally feel like you.
For a long time, I was walking two parallel paths.
One led through systems, software, and strategy—ProductivIT and The Software Adoption Doctor.
The other followed early-morning workouts, wellbeing coaching, and the Feel Good Fitness Coach.
I loved both.
But eventually, I reached a point where I needed to make a decision about what path I was going to take.
Clients I was supporting on the business side were asking for help with routines, energy, and self-care.
Clients I was coaching in fitness and wellbeing were reaching a point where they wanted to improve how they ran their businesses - not just how they ran their bodies.
And there I was, toggling between websites, identities, and even email addresses.
My friend Carrie used to call me Random Reena - and honestly, sometimes I felt like it.
This post shares why I decided to rebrand my business - and how it’s helping me support others more holistically through one clear, aligned identity.
The turning point? Writing my book.
It all came to a head while I was writing The Mystery of the Lost Customer.
That process made something click: the work I care most about is helping people feel good - not just in their bodies, but in their businesses too.
I realised I wasn’t operating in two different worlds.
I was supporting independent professionals to bring together the same building blocks I’ve always believed in:
People. Process. Tools.
And just like the human body, your business needs all three systems working together.
When one’s out of sync, everything else starts to suffer.
You might have the right tech, but if you’re exhausted and overwhelmed, it won’t make a difference.
You might have amazing customer service instincts, but without clear processes, it’s hard to delegate or grow.
It all has to align.
That’s what this brand evolution is really about… not a rebrand for the sake of it, but a deeper alignment between who I am, how I work, and who I serve.
So what does this mean for you?
If you’ve ever felt like you’re switching roles all day - coach, consultant, carer, cheerleader - you’re not alone.
Most of the independent professionals I work with are busy taking care of everyone else: clients, kids, ageing parents, friends.
Their own needs often end up last on the list.
This brand consolidation isn’t just about me - it reflects the path so many of us are on.
We’re craving simplicity, cohesion, and alignment.
We want our businesses to reflect who we are and support the life we actually want to live.
And that feels especially important right now.
We’re living in a time when hustle culture and hyper-productivity are still glorified, while softer, more sustainable ways of working are often overlooked or dismissed.
There’s a growing resistance to inclusion and care - whether it’s through calls to scrap DEI efforts or the backlash against anything that doesn’t fit a traditional, masculine mould of leadership.
But I believe taking care of yourself, your people, and your customers is not just valid - it’s vital.
It’s how we build resilient, values-led businesses that actually last.
That’s why everything I do now is grounded in one core idea:

What you’ll find on this site
Whether you’ve worked with me before or you’re just discovering my work, here’s what you can expect under the single Susannah Simmons brand:
- Fitness and lifestyle coaching to help you feel good in yourself - with sustainable habits that fit your life, not someone else’s idea of success
- Customer wellbeing strategy and planning to help you map out the customer journey, document your processes, and create a consistent experience you can trust
- On-demand coaching and tools that connect the dots between people, process, and tools - without adding to your overwhelm
It’s all tailored to help you build a body and a business that lasts - without burning out in the process.
So I'm not scrapping everything and starting over.
I've simply chosen the path that allows me to align with my values, strengthen my customer relationships and take care of my health and wellbeing.
And I'd love to help you do the same.
