Tracy-Anne’s Story of Awareness, Action and Business Growth

Meet Tracy-Anne Barker, founder of The Managers Training Company: coach, trainer and mentor to managers in education, and a woman on a mission to support schools from the inside out.

Like many third chapter solopreneurs, Tracy-Anne found herself juggling a growing business with a demanding diary, all while trying to prioritise her own wellbeing.

Her story is a perfect example of what happens when you create space to care for both yourself and your customers.

Before We Worked Together

Despite having a strong background in health and fitness, Tracy-Anne found that business had slowly edged wellbeing off her priority list.

“I lost that routine because of building the business… I would say health and wellbeing used to be higher up my agenda, but as a business owner, it was the thing that got left behind.”

She knew she needed to get her focus back, but wasn’t looking for a rigid programme.

She needed something that could work with her irregular schedule and evolving priorities.

What We Worked On

Tracy-Anne first joined the 40 Day Eat Well Challenge, expecting a refresher. What she got was something deeper—greater awareness, practical tools, and that all-important sense of focus.

“It helped me see the little habits, like dipping into the biscuit tin by the kettle. That self-awareness was huge.”

From there, she became a founding member of the Forever Fit & Fabulous Club, where she’s continued to build habits that support her through the ups and downs of solopreneur life.

“I feel supported. If things wobble or fall away—because life happens—I can show up and be honest. And that’s really powerful.”

She also joins Wake Up & Workout Online when her diary allows and loves the flexibility of having a variety of support options at her fingertips.
